While in Paoli Hospital Dr. Bolinger was called upon to offer a consult. He came into my room, ignored me, picked up the phone and began returning his phone calls. He glanced at my chart, made a few notes, shot a curt comment my way and left the room. He offered nothing to my treatment...except he was sure to submit his bill to my insurance and to me for copay. I am kicking myself for not checking his usage of my room phone...I would have deducted it from his bill. He could have used the phone at the Nurse's station. He should have taken a course in bed side manner while he was in medical school. I won't be seeing him again.
